[W126 Coupe] Sunroof repair

Hi guys,

I need to do some work on my sunroof.

Suspected broken side mechanism as well.

This is for a 1985 380 SEC.

Just wondering if it's possible to convert a sliding roof to a tilt / 
slide roof.

Doubt it, but worth asking.
