[W126 Coupe] propane coolant

A couple of weeks ago I recharged my AC system using Duracool, a propane
based product. It cost me under $20, is compatible with Freon, blows colder
than R134 and is SIGNIFICANTLY more environmentally friendly than R134.
They do have data on the flammability issue. Maybe we should all convert
from gasoline powered cars and not use gas forced air heaters. And forget
about camping equipment. And if any of you are still smoking and using
cigarette lighters, better watch out before you blow yourselves up.

Let's write a letter and we'll all sign it!
You have to wonder which part of the AC industry is
paying that guy to write that article.
I think that may tell us that there is a big
propane push on the way from some off the field
players in the AC industry.

I was at the library procrastinating by reading popular mechanics and saw an
article saying basically that if you have propane based coolant in you're
a/C it is an explosion waiting to happen and that propane is nothing short
than the spawn of satan. I know there are some here that could easily refute
them...I think somebody should write them a letter to let them know how
wrong they are.
