Advance is in the opposite direction that the rotor in the distributor turns
. if the rotor turns clockwise, turn the body of the distributor counter
-clockwise to advance the timing. (unless you have a french ducellier
electric system,) Ducellier makes Lucas Electrics look genius.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] which direction to rotate distributor?

Which direction do you rotate the distributor on a 380 to advance timing?
Also, anybody know what size allen key that fastener is so I don't have to
keep buying and returning allen keys until I get the right size?
Thanks,
Richard
