[W126 Coupe] S class tranny

Won't directly bolt up, won't shift right, different tailhousing.  In other
words, find an even better transmission to fit into the car for all that
money and work.

Hi,

Does any one know what type of later tranny's fit the w126 chasis cars. 
Will a 2000 500s tranny fit, without major modifications.  I know Satish
put a 500e tranny in his car and all he had to change was the back of it to
allow the use of a stock w126 tranny mount.  Would it be the same with the
later w220 S class and w140 s class tranny's. Or will I need to make a
custom driveshaft, and will they even bolt up to m116 an m117 blocks?
