I mounted an off-the-shelf fire extinguisher in the stock position. I  
just used a small piece of aluminum sheet stock to adapt the fire  
extinguisher's bracket to the stock holes already in each front seat.  
Feel under (bottom edge) the tubular cross member across the lower  
front of your seat bottom. You will feel two small dimples near the  
center, about 6 inches apart. In each of those dimples is a pre- 
drilled and tapped hole. Those are the mounting holes.
