Isn't Halotron a pretty decent Halon replacement? Either way none of this does me any good without an out of sight way to mount it.

Regarding Halon Fire Extinguishers in North America:
Thanks for clarifying the information on Halon extinguishers.  It is important to realize that these extinguishers have been restricted for environmental reasons for ten years.
Halon extinguishers are well suited for all classes of fires.  They are light, portable and offer the greatest effectiveness for their weight.  Halon is colourless and odourless and leave no residue.  In other words, halon extinguishers are very well suited in mobile situations (like cars and aircraft). In fact they are still manufactured and sold for use in aircraft.
