Didn't I read somewhere on the list about using Mustang headers?
I think they cut the mounting plates off the headers and welded some new
ones on that would bolt up to the MB engine.
It's the exhaust port spacing that allows this. Since you are dealing
with a small block V8 even if it is a Benz. Match the spacing and the
pipes will line up.
