[W126 Coupe] smoke on start up?

Richard,
I agree with Bellamy, if you're only getting blue
smoke on start up, don't worry about it. However, if
you notice it smoking while sitting waiting for the
traffic light to change, then you may want to start
thinkking about valve guide seals.
My wife's 560SL was smoking pretty bad at idle when
hot outside, and my SEC was starting to as well. I
replaced the seals and all has been well for several
months (thanks to Mike R. for the valve spring
compression tool). I know the valve guides are
probably worn, but I figure doing the seals a time or
two more when needed is way cheaper than paying somone
to do the guides.
