Hi Greg.  When I bought my 560SEC earlier this year, I was told  that the 
clock didn't work. I tried resetting it a number of times to no  avail.  Then I 
tried pulling the button/knob all the way out and wiggling  it a bit, the clock 
began to run properly and hasn't stopped since.

I have been reading the clock issue for some time and thinking that  everyone 
was well aware of the position of the clock button. When I first picked  my 
car up I set the clock because the Battery was swapped for a new one. clock  
stopped working. started fiddling with it and it started working. One of our  
wonderful time changes and again clock stopped after changeing the time. Looked  
in the owners manual guess what if you don't pull the button out all of the 
way  it stops. Just a thought. GregM 380 sec
