[W126 Coupe] Removing lower mouldings

I just had my 380SEC painted 6 months ago and thought about it too.  I took all the moulding off and gave it serious thought , but finally decided not to.  I looked at other cars without moulding and some with.  Don't feel the 126 looks as full without them.  But, to each is own!!!
