Yes that is correct.

Actually though I would prefer that the wipers on my SEC parked on the left 
side. I don't know about you guys, but there is a small patch on the lower 
left of my windshield that on a dark and stormy night I can't see through 
because its all blurry (and believe me there are a lot of dark and stormy 
nights in Vancouver). That little blurry patch makes all the difference 
when trying turn left around a traffic island and because I can't see it, I 
usually swing wide to make sure I clear it.

I just bought a 1982 380 SL, the wipers are positioned on the drivers side 
when turned off.  Is that correct?  My SEC also a 380 has them stopped on 
the passenger side.  What's right?
