Anything that creates a vortex in a chamber increases efficiency, If you
"spin" the air down a pipe, you can move more volume.Do they work in engine
intakes?? Who knows, I know a person who uses one in his Impala SS and he
swears by it.
PS, if you go to a company that specializes in different kinds of fans,
you can buy a vortex type fan blades for about $5.00
