Sounds like you created a gremlin of sorts.  Why not disconnect the radio
harness to see if you can get the functions back to normal.  Then
troubleshoot the pin switches and any other gear that may have been
introduced to the wiring harness by 'others' like a car alarm.  As for the
dash lights, check the rheostat on the instrument cluster.
