[W126 Coupe] Wiring Questions

Hello All,

Another interesting question about my 560.  It seems odd that the emergency 
flashers only function when the drivers door is open.  Same with the radio.  
I must have tied the radio into what I assumed was a "hot with key in on or 
run position" .  However, this connection is hot only with key on and door 
open.  As I am returning the car to road after a long rebuild of motor and 
trans (another story still in progress), this problem and the fact that I 
have no dash lights are my next challenges.

I do have the electrical diagrams and suspect the door switche(s), but would 
like to know if anyone has experienced a similar problem.
