Dan, 

It sounds as though you live near me. The cost of real estate in Sarasota, FL 
is appreciating at well over 25% a year with the average median now at almost 
$300k. Million dollar condos are springing up all over the downtown area. And 
even worse than that, it seems as though almost everyone drives either a late 
model Benz, BMW, Porsche, Land Rover, Lexus... you get the idea. I am 
constantly amazed at some of the vehicles I see around town. In the past week or so, 
I've seen an Aston Martin DB-8, and an F40 Ferrari. But what really made me 
cringe was seeing the blonde thirty-something "trophy wife" in a silver CL65. 
There are at least a dozen or so SECs here and our population is only around 
300,000.
