I had once that problem with one of the wheels of my Jaguar.
I had to use a torque wrench and set it to about 200 lbs to loosen the bolt.
I think the tire shops are tightening the bolts to much.
And a torque wrench at Home Depot cost about $69.00.

  It is also a good idea, to take them to the wire wheel
  to clean them up a little.  I do that with most bolts
  I take out so I can get the crap off of them.
