I figured that would be the case, I was just hoping that as a side
effect of getting an in dash CD I would also get better sound overall. I
still need to decide if I think the CD 400 will look good, which I guess
is no big deal since I still need more money and need to figure out how
one would install this. There's no way it's exactly the right size and
that it has the same connectors as the becker, right?

Don't know if this analogy helps, but I think about audio systems as a
chain; it is only as strong as its weakest link. Nor does it help if one
element is super-duper, the best (and cheapest) solution is if
everything is
about equal in performance.
