the compressor is a pump that compresses a low temp/ low pressure gas in to
a high temp /high pressure gas, this gas passes in thru a heat exchanger (a
condenser looks like a radiator and is in front of the radiator in modern cars)
and cools into a high pressure liquid
it then goes thru a small opening some times called an orifice tube where
the liquid expands back to a gas and gets cold .this cold now gas basicly
squrits into the evaporator where a second heat transfer takes place removing
heat from the cabin air this air is delivered in side the car
its really simple some systems use a few types of controls to achieve the
system form freezing up but they all operate on the same principals and this is
how an all systems that get cold work i.e. refrigerators home ac water
coolers ect ....) OK now what i just told you took me 2 years to master ...lol
