[W126 Coupe] air conditioner Refrigerant question

This is sorta related (my air con seems to be blowing cold at idle now even though it's in the 90's...perhaps it just needed to be used some after 6 years of never being switched on?). My air con will blow out the defroster/defogger vents even when I have the regular air con (the one with the non-filled in upper arrow) button selected. Which vacuum elements are these? I seem to remember them being the ones directly behind the glove box, but I recently replaced those and they work fine.
Thanks,
Richard

Hi Mike:
That could be a loss of vacuum supply at idle to the make-up air door vacuum
diaphragms (2). Have you replaced these yet? They are $60 each from MB or
just buy the rubber diaphragm kit from George Murphy, $45 does all the
elements in the car.
Easy enough to check these by attaching a MightyVac with gauge to each hose
going to the respective vac elements by locating the distribution valve
along side the HVAC unit in the center console. I just pull the passenger
center console side carpet panel.
Stay cool.
Dick
