[W126 Coupe] speeding in Arizona

Been a while since I have posted--sorry to hear of a
fellow Arizonan busted speeding.  I further encourage
a lawyer--I was busted for only 10 over, but then they
pretended not to receive my payment (always send
registered return receipt requested!) and issued a
warrant.  Then, after much larger fines and a hit to
my record that will not go away except by aging off,
they sent me back my check with a letter saying they
didn't need it because I had paid by other means--they
had it the whole time!  Probably a computer glitch,
but the lesson is to pay attention to your
autoscheduled court date and your cancelled checks. 
Of interest, rape and traffic warrants (probably
because of DUI) are two things I learned AZ law does
not provide a means to be pardoned from your record. 
Also, AZ license is good for 40 years from date of
issue!
