What's a fair price for a 1988 560SEC with 150,000 but good interior, good
paint, and presumably good mechanics?

$7000 to $10000. Everything works, good engine compression, maint records,
proper transmission operation, stock (no competition mods)
   In New England anyway.
 More if any of the "goods" above are "excellents".
