If I was going to Really have at one of these motors I would pick up a set
of Carillo rods and JE pistons w/ 10.5, maybe 11-1.. Send the crank assembly
out for Major lightening and knife edging.. Having the reciprocating bits
considerably lighter I would look for cams that would make power through 7K
and I'm Sure someone out there could set up valve springs to deal with it.
With that and Talbir's mention of cams, head work etc you could make quite a
runner.
Anyway, just my thought if my pockets were bottomless;-)
But seeing as they are not, forced induction it will be....
Perhaps as a side project I'll take one of the two 560 motors I have sitting
around and make a serious NA motor down the road;-)
