Actually they barely pass WITH cats, and even if they did they would fail on
No2 (Nox) As far as I know a cat is the only thing that will remove.

burned clean enough that they could barely get by without cats.

It will improve performance and I would wager longevity of your
engine. Was your Euro federalized when it came over? Regardless, my
SEL felt great sans cats. I hollowed out each so it would look
correct for a visual inspection. As long as you don't have emissions
testing you should be fine!
