[W126 Coupe] correction on advice I gave about VA radar

Well, in DC you don't get a real court you go to the adjudicator's
office, and the adjudicator has the IQ of a typical wombat ("But, I
don't own a green Ford Escort and this license number isn't registered
to me, how could I be late on paying a parking ticket if I never got a
ticket and I never owned the car the ticket is for?" "Well the late
notice says your name right." "Well yes but It's not my car ." "Well you
gotta pay your ticket " "But it's not my car!" etc), and when you do get
to go to court in DC (I never did figure out why sometimes you do and
sometimes you don't) it's basically the civilian is a liar and the cop
speaks the word of God. In VA I don't know since everyone I know who got
a ticket in VA admitted defeat and didn't bother with court. In MD they
tend to be more reasonable...in fact so do the cops. They do stop you
for just about everything, but they typically just give a warning (which
works better than a ticket evidenced by the fact that my dad never
committed any of the acts he got a warning for ever again out of respect
for the cop's kindness).

well, because a lot of folks seem to be in small citys/or more rural
areas if the police act this way my question is how do the courts
act????
