[W126 Coupe] Re: Blower Motor - Whistling Sound

  This has occurred more than once in all of my 126 cars (same blower
motor).
  Leaves got caught in the air intake then in the blower cage. I don't know
how a half oak leaf made its way into the blower housing but they do. They
contact the blower vanes and, at full speed, will whistle.

Has anyone ever gotten a whistling sound from the heater/AC blower?  Mine
does this a little. It's quiet now, but I'm pretty sure t will get worse.
Can I just take it out and lubricate it, or is this the kind of thing best
left to the pros?  Any direction would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
