[W126 Coupe] S600 Coupe

has anyone ever seen and S600 coupe  (96' or 97')  that had 3 vents just 
behind the front wheel well, just like the SL's do?  i saw one yesterday in 
San Clemente CA, it was white and had the vents.  i asked him if it was 
origninal and he claimed yes, but i have looked and many, many pictures of 
all years of S600 coupes, and i haven't seen one with them.  it looked 
really nice and added to the sportiness of the car.  what is the general 
sensus on this site of the quality of these cars, 600 vs. 500 and so on, i 
may be eyeing my next car, haha.  thanks for the help in advance!
