[W126 Coupe] final V1 hardwiring question

Yes, you have the right one, Richard. It looks like to me also that
there is only the 'hot all the time' wire. That is the wire I that I
have my old Passport hooked to in my W124. No big deal if I forget to
turn off the detector, because they draw very little current. Would be
weeks before it drained the battery.
