[W126 Coupe] final V1 hardwiring question

Ok, maybe this is the final question: Jonathan said the wire for the
lamp becomes hot when the ignition is turned on, but for the light to
turn on when the doors are opened, isn't it always hot?

My V1 is hardwired in a similar manner and I have had no problems during
