[W126 Coupe] RE: Rim repair

Markus,

I just called the Wheel Collision Center and they have the proprietary tools
to fix the AMG/OZ Racing 3-piece rims.

However, I was also warned that spare parts for these wheels are no longer
available and that the outer rim is very soft.

I was advised to get an extra wheel in each dimension (8x17 and 10x17) to be
assured access to replacement parts.

I also asked about the hairline crack issue and the answer was very
categorical; such wheels can not be repaired and are unsafe.

Food for thought. Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Axel J. Wulff
