[W126 Coupe] Gergwerk???

My guess is that it's much much less restrictive than the stock cat (IIRC it was 49 state legal, not 50). Even after 20 years my 380 puts out almost immeasureable levels of emissions for everything other than CO2, so it seems to me like that must be one might restrictive cat. While talking about power, I might as well ask, what are everybody's thoughts on advancing the timing on a 380 about 2 degrees and using 93 octane, instead of using the stock 87 (not that I do, I use 93, but it can work fine on 87) with stock timing?

That's really too bad. They had a cat for the 380 to give it 18hp that I
planned on using when this cat goes. Of course, if this cat lasts another 5
years I could just swap it out with a straight pipe.

I do not know the details but, in speaking with Steve Lemberg several months
ago he made clear that they had buttoned up the shop and that Carl had taken
another position elsewhere in an unrelated field.
