No, I live in Tennessee, however a couple of counties (Shelby Co. [Memphis] and Davidson Co. [Nashville]) do have some sort of inspection, but I don't know what they check. I live on the western border of Knox Co. (Knoxville), and there aren't any counties in East Tennessee that have inspections. We do pay a wheel tax yearly when we renew our registration of $30.00, in addition to a $32.00 registration fee.

                       Later,
                       Chris
