Chet,

I'm continually impressed by your assistance to the group on almost every aspect of this automobile. The documentation and photos you put together are amazing!
I bet you could almost put together a supplement to the MB shop manual especially for the SEC's... I would buy one!!
I can't stand it when you get a shop manual and they cover all the models for that platform. So irritating to find what you need and when you do, it never quite covers what you need in detail.
Anyway, it would be great if there was a way for you to post this information on the mbcoupes web site where it's categorically organized and everyone has access to it...would be incredibly useful.
I mean, what if something happen to you... We'd all be up the creek without a paddle!! HA!

Keep up the good work and thank you!

Sam

David,

It sounds like the secondary bolt lock is engaged. This should show you
what's going on..
