Hey Chris,

I've already talked to my lawyer about a provisional patent, which I will wait until the prototype is ready to go before I file it, then after I have thoroughly tested it, and am happy with the final design, then get the full patent. As far as a patent not being a good idea, I don't agree with that, as it is the only way I know of to protect my idea. Besides, if I wanted to, say, license the turbo to one of the automobile manufacturers for use on their cars as an OEM accessory, I would definitely have to have a patent, or else they could just snatch out from under me. I'm getting a little long in the tooth, and I'm not in a good position financially in regards to retirement, so I'm hoping this takes me to a point to where I can enjoy a comfortable retirement eventually. Early onset rheumatoid arthritis has pretty much taken me out of the technician field, can't work fast enough to make the big money anymore. I'm doing a couple of different things right now to pay the bills!
, but the turbo is near the top of the list of "to do" right now, right behind getting a small mortgage note brokerage going.

                       Later,
                       Chris
