[W126 Coupe] dash cover

Ike,
It would be a quite the task to take the dash out. I would recommend
taking Many digital pictures while taking the dash apart. If you do,
it would be an Ideal time to replace the vacuum elements!
I know there are companies out there that you send your dash to, they
take a mold and re-manufacture another. If I remember correctly that
was cheaper then getting a new one from MB.
