Hey Chris,
Yeah, I checked them out, Atilla sent me the link to one of the magazine articles a couple of months ago. I try to stay up on the current turbo market, as I'm currently working on a completely new type of turbo, that I'm hoping to get a patent for as soon as I can get a working prototype put together and installed on my test mule (an '89 Chevy Cavalier 2.0l). It will eliminate all the disadvantages of the current crop of turbos, lag, heat, the need for an engine dependent oiling system, among other things. I've had my lawyer do intensive patent searches, and there isn't anything like it even pending, so I've definitely come up with a unique design. I'll be designing models for various cars, motorcycles, and watercraft. Initally, I'll be targeting the sport compact market, as that is the hottest performance market at the moment. Ricers are buying the majority of the turbo kits that are available, and there are almost as many performance goodies for the Hondas and Acuras now!
as there are for the small block Chevys! My problem right now is capital to purchase machining equipment, materials, and time to do all this. I work full time plus about 20 hrs. a week extra, so I am trying to put the funds together myself, but the purchase of a new house five months ago has put me back a bit. Any potential investors out there?
Later,
Christopher Huffine
