[W126 Coupe] As dumb as a 560SEC dipstick ?

The answer to your question is...no problem, as your dipstick tube comes out right above the pan. Your filter, if the suction is even strong enough, has a screen on it, and would prevent the pump from ingesting it. If you haven't had a tranny service done in the last 50,000 miles, I would recommend getting a fluid and filter change performed, and they can retrieve the end of your dipstick while they're at it.
