Well there's a lot that I let go of that I wish I had kept for ebay 
fodder.  I helped liquidate a photographer's estate and he had a 3x4 
Super D with the standard 8" and 10" tele all in Graflex leather cases, 
and a Kalart 3x4 camera with a 90 127 180 and 250 all matched for the 
camera, both were lost in a fire at the local resale shop. Now that 3x4 
film is back these nice "minature cameras" as Mr. Hemenway would call 
them have a better resale value.   The Kalart camera was way ahead of 
it's time

Then there was the Orion adapter in it's original case along with some 
beat up Exactas and lenses.  The Orion allowed one brand of lens to 
another brand camera....Leica to Contax I think.  Anyway I got $5000 
for the whole thing, he sold the Orion for $5500 to another dealer that 
was going to sell it to a Texas collector for $13K.  In retrospect that 
should have gone to Sotheby's
