The Sinar could be carried on a very short rail. What is involved in
shortening a rail?  Looks like
the threaded connecting rod, the tube and the aligning pins are all
involved. Not a 5-minute job for a skilled man.
Just what is the shortest Sinar tube? 6 inches?
