Tim,

It depends on the lens. I know that some Kodak lenses had their own 
thread rates for Ilex shutters so you cannot make a direct transfer 
of the elements from a Kodak Ilex shutter to an ordinary Ilex 
shutter. The Steve Grimes Company web site may have more information 
on this.
