I forgot to mention the excellent landscapes. interesting architecture,
cheap large-format equipment (sometimes) and culture, like dog racing,
unlimited access to alcohol, (can induce sloping verticals) women of a
certain kind etc. I did hope we would hear from Uncle Dick but maybe he is
in a darkened room testing the characteristics of Koala-brand developer.
At the minute it's bright sun but gusty wind and although my camera doesn't
shake, the subject visibly is. Am off to search for paper-covered plastic
board to make an informal windbreak. I am going to try and hold the board
steady in the wind whilst the delayed action buzzes away. Philip
