Philip,

My Kodak Specialist 2 has a half-plate back that takes ordinary 5x7 
film holders but that dates from the 50's rather than the earlier 
cameras you mention.

It wouldn't be too difficult to rig up a 5x7 back for one of the 
earlier cameras if you have a 5x7 back from another camera. This is 
what I was going to do with the Specialist but so far have not come 
across another back at a reasonable price. Maybe someone on the list 
has one knocking around?
