It's a nice Spring day here in the old country. I heard a woodpecker tapping
into a tree fpr a few minutes then it stopped. must have got repetitive
strain injury or a headache. Montreal sounds a nice place to visit in June,
As to your wooden film holder, are you sure you are using the right one? If
it's the only one in town you could widen it on one side with a hardwood
strip the same thickness/length as the darkslide and the 1/4 inch width
required to take up the slack. Matt black. I expect a certain amount of
sanding down will be called for to get a fit. What is the focal length and
back focus of the Adon tele? Is it in a brass barrel with an iris diaphragm
or Waterhouse stops? If it's only 1 1/4" diameter it must be a very small
max aperture so you'll need a really large black cloth. More like a black
tent like I saw in the Near East years back.....there's a thought, you could
process in there and also keep out of the minus ten degrees C weather.
