The temperature inside a car in full sunlight can get very high, even in the UK. On my last trip to Spain I left rolls of 120 film (in a small bag) under the car, on the basis that the air temperature would peak at around 37 C. The film was unaffected as I found when I got it developed out there at a lab in Alicante.
