Marco - do I detect a slight Italian influence?......
Part of the trip will be work anyway, otherwise I would not be going. As
it will be a fairly short trip then it seems to make more sense to try and
take a couple of meaningful photos. There are already great memories of
previous visits in smaller formats lurking somewhere in the filing system
(well boxes actually) that contains all the 35mm stuff.
The deciding factor in taking the 4x5 LF kit over is not so much the
weight, rather the potential problems from inspections of film holders
coming back from Rome. This wasn't so much of a problem in the past,
however security has been tightened up a lot since the end of last year.
There will not be time to get the film developed before returning. Was
thinking about buying some Fuji film in Rome and taking some Ilford B&W.
Maybe planning to dance is a better idea :-)
Cheers,
