The centi-gor was the 7th revision of  Tri-gor which was the 3rd revision of
the Da-gor, or "there"-gor.

One American group tried to make a version of this, but it was
inconsistantly sharp, very low contrast, and rather bland. It was dubbed the
no-there-gor  but then just shortened to Al-gor.
