Thanks for the leads - will drop Todd a line and see if he knows
anything about the camera.
The plate sizes you quote are nearly correct as far as I know. Half
plate is 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" at least that is what is says on one of the
Kodak (UK) plate holders that came with the camera :-)
The backs are definitely imperial - we didn't do metric in those
halcyon days. The metric film sizes and holders seem to have been
popular in Germay - Helge posted a lot of this information recently.
I have the metric versions of some 5x7 film holders for sale if
anyone is interested - contact me off the list. Film is still sold in
these sizes in parts of Europe and presumably camera backs are
constructed slightly differently.
Guess it could be possible to end up with a plate camera back with
imperial film holders and metric film ;-)
