Steve,

We have wooden floors, and I have no complaints whatsoever with them.  I can
tell you that the dirt around the barn can get pretty ugly when compacyed
down with straw and poop and whatnot.  In fact, I have been mucking the barn
& barnyard this week, and when I shovel the barnyard, I find myself taking
away layers of dirt just to get all the muck...and the average elevation of
the barnyard is defintiely decreasing over time!  As for concrete, that
might be easiest from a caretakers perspective, but it just seemed kind of
cold (especially in our northern winters) and hard on little hooves for an
entire winter.
