TWO Things come to mind. Green is said to be the future. Yet the batteries
need copper. Lots of copper. Mining companies are going to destroy
Navajo lands to get it. Lithium is needed. One example is Greenland. There
is Lithium under the ice. The ice is gone so mining will be easier and it
will destroy the land. Lithium mines in Portugal are already destroying the
land. Copper is destroying Peru and Chile. Green energy is not as wonderful
as we think.
And in the Climate department. 1. Decreased snow cover 2. Sea Level rise 9
inces 3. Ocean acidification +30% 4. Extreme Events
5. Decline of arctic sea ice 6. Glacial retreat. The Alps, Himalayas,
Africa, Alaska, Roclies, Andes, Indonesia
7. Shrinking Ice shelves 8. Warming Oceans +.6 degrees 90% of heat energy
goes into the Ocean
9. Temperature rise of 2.12 degrees
The Sudirman Range glacial anger is gone. The Puncak Jaya Glacier
disappeared. Kilmanjaro has shrunk.
Food? All these factors make food a problem. Where will it come from? The
mid latitudes will be too warm. There won't be rain.
