Nutrition as science is but a few years older than most of us. Indeed, most
nutritional scientists are still alive. Still, it's a science in its
infancy.
The problem I have with pigs, other than the fact that they are smarter
than dogs, is that illnesses they have crossed over to humans. Industrial
farming of pigs create ponds of pig excrement which when it floods crosses
over to land used to grow food crops for humans. That is where the recall
and outbreaks of plant disease seem to originate.
