real rednecks are scarcer in Austin. you have the classic Americanus 
blowhardus if you look for him.* Consider that white Americans are 
reproducing less that black Americans and resident hispanics. Trump does 
not just represent the white blowhardus voters. Hillary drove voters to 
switch from Dem to Rep. Trump got 8% of black American voters, 12% of 
college-educated American blacks voted for Trump. And similarly Trump 
got a sizeable percentage of hispanic American voters. The Dems are not 
idiots. they know that Trump will win if their candidate is other than 
Tired Joe Biden or Crazy Bernie. Bernie could win. Joe Biden less likely 
I suspect. Historically, presidents running for a second term in a 
prosperous economy have almost always won.

*there is also the classic Americanus blowhardus who delights in 
contrariness, the village Atheist type.
